Objectives : Introduction to communication and information theory, information size, canal and memory less canal capacity, course coding which consists of fixed length coding, optimum variable length coding, Markov source, Shannon Fano coding, universal lossless coding, and channel coding which consist of group theory, Galois field, polynomials, irreducible polynomial, primitive polynomial, minimal polynomial, block codes, cyclic codes, BCH codes, Reed-Solomon Codes, Convolutional Codes, and Turbo Codes.
