This course is a discipline that studies the theory and practice of small businesses and their models of development.

The aim of this course is to cover methods of entering a new business, small business profiles and also the framework of the development of small and medium enterprises in Indonesia. It also covers the knowledge of practical problems and critical issues in the development of new business (start-up), knowledge methods in the search for sources of funding small and medium enterprises in Indonesia, and the knowledge of modern business management concepts. Mastery of the teaching is done by reviewing the critical issues about small and medium enterprises as well as funding sources.

After following this course, students are expected to have adequate knowledge and understanding of the new business entry, know and understand the practical problems and critical issues in the development of new business (start-up), then possess knowledge in small and medium business management. It is important to have basic knowledge of the methods in the search for sources of funding the small and medium enterprises in Indonesia, as well as having knowledge of modern business management concepts, namely how to achieve success in the small and medium enterprises to maintain their existence in this dynamic business world.
