Informatics System Strategy, Management, And Acquisition | This course explores series of issues and approaches in managing the organization’s information systems function and explore the capabilities of a variety types of functions / support in an information system. This involves senior management perspective in exploring the acquisition, development and implementation of plans and policies to achieve the efficiency and effectiveness of information systems. This lesson discusses a series of issues or problems related to the definition of high-level information technology Infrastructure and the systems that support operations, administrative and strategic needs of an organization. The focus of this course is the development of a framework of thought that would allow the head of the organization to assess the existing infrastructure and emerging technologies as well as how these technologies impact the organization’s strategy. The ideas that developed and processed in this course is intended to provide a perspective that can help leaders understand the improvement of technology that intensified globalization. |
