Enterprise Architecture

This course explores a series of design, selection, implementation and management of enterprise information technology solutions. The focus is on applications and infrastructure in accordance with business. Students learn the framework and strategy for infrastructure management, system administration, data architecture or information, content management, distributed computing, middleware, integration of legacy systems, system consolidation, and software selection, calculation of the total cost of ownership, information technology investment analysis, and development of technology. The topics addressed to both internal and external parties of organization, with high regards to risk management and security compliance auditing standards. Students can hone their skills in briefly communicating the strategy in technology architecture to general business audience.
