Optical Communication SystemThis course is expected to give competences in the basic field of optic, such as though introduction of specific concepts of optical communication. Topics of discussion including : comparative study between optical communication system and conventional communication system, light propagation through geometry and electromagnetic wave approaches, characteristics and variation of optical fiber, optical signal degradation, passive and active optical component, analog and digital link planning, multiplex techniques, coherent optic communication, optic and fibreless optic network.
