Ngabuburit with After Class Talk #3 2022: Ramadhan Around the World traditionally marked by the sighting of the crescent moon, Ramadhan usually lasts between 29 and 30 days and while the core ideologies remain the same, different countries have different traditions and customs.
Under the theme Ngabuburit Ramadhan Around the World, International Office of Telkom University organized the 3rd series of After Class Talk 2022 by inviting speakers from students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang and KNB program. The speakers study at Telkom University through student exchange and degree program. The speakers shared the typical experience of Ramadhan in their respective countries in Ngabuburit with After Class Talk #3 2022: Ramadhan Around the World event. The event Ngabuburit with After Class Talk #3 2022: Ramadhan Around the World is held in Hybrid mode, the speakers are present offline at Tel-U coffee while the participants are present online via zoom.
In addition to the speakers, the Ngabuburit with After Class Talk #3 2022: Ramadhan Around the World event was also attended by participants via zoom meeting. Participants came from international students from various countries, such as Tanzania, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Timor Leste, Madagascar, and Afghanistan joined Ngabuburit.

Imran, a Telkom University student from Pakistan, opened the Ngabuburit with After Class Talk #3 2022: Ramadhan Around The World Ngabuburit event by sharing his first Ramadan experience in Indonesia, which had a few obstacles regarding food and homesickness. But so far he’s gotten over it and adjusted quickly. In contrast to Imran, Fasihah, an exchange student from Universiti Malaysia Pahang, in this Ngabuburit with After Class Talk #3 2022: Ramadhan Around The World Ngabuburit event, she shared that she is still trying to adjust to the food in Bandung. She is also still looking for Indonesian food that is like the one food she misses in her country Malaysia.
The participants of the Ngabuburit with After Class Talk #3 2022: Ramadhan Around the World Ngabuburit event also shared their experiences of fasting in their respective countries. Hafizullah, an international student from Parahyangan University who came from Afghanistan, said that in his country there is one day off to welcome the month of Ramadhan.

Starting from the tradition of waking up or suhoor which also exists in every country, the tradition of the Ramadhan market, which is also always busy, to special foods that only exist in the month of Ramadhan.
