Chapter 2 Online Joint Class: Tel-U & UniKL. Chapter 2 of Online Joint Class is a program between Telkom University and partner universities which is intended to create a study experience for Telkom University & partner universities students. The first chapter was established in early 2022 where many students and lecturers from Telkom University and Batangas State University successfully made the program work by sharing their experience and research about interesting topics.

This December, the new chapter has returned with a brand new main event, named Online Joint Class Chapter 2, and successfully brought together experience and knowledge between Telkom University and Universiti Kuala Lumpur through this chapter. This chapter presents interesting topics about Fundamental Electronic Circuit and Power Generation, the online joint class chapter 2 was scheduled and ran in three sessions.

Chapter 2 Online Joint Class Session 1 Highlight

The first session of the chapter 2 was held on December 12^th , 2022, by inviting two excellent speakers:

1. Wahmisari Priharti, M.Sc., Ph.D., lecturer at Telkom University Chapter 2 Session 1
2. Mohd Fahmi Hussin, lecturer at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Chapter 2 Session 1

This first session was attended by more than 70 students, where they gained a lot of knowledge and experience from amazing lecturers  who were willing to share their research about fundamental electronic circuit and power generation. Wahmisari Priharti, M.Sc., Ph.D. from Telkom University presented and discussed her research in the first session about fundamental electronic circuit, which included:

1. The Opposite Direction and Current of Energy from the Light Bulb
2. Electric Charge and Electric Current
3. Voltage and Resistance
4. Resistance and Impedance

Dr. Mohd Fahmi Hussin from Universiti Kuala Lumpur also shared his knowledge about power generations and discussed his point of view, which also included:

1. Voltage Level of Transmission and Distribution
2. Future Generation Development Plant
3. Electrical Power System
4. Coal-Fired Power Station

Chapter 2 Online Joint Class Session 2 Highlight

Multiple students participated in the 2nd session of the online joint class chapter 2. This session was held on December 15^th, 2022. In this second session of the chapter 2, participants learned about marketing. This session in chapter 2 was discussed and presented by two excellent lecturers from Telkom University and Universiti Kuala Lumpur.

The excellent speakers on the second session of this chapter are, Sri Widaningsih S.Psi., M.M., CPM-A from Telkom University and Dr. Yong Salmah Nasir from Universiti Kuala Lumpur presented a clear explanation about marketing, which included:

2. Gen Z’s Consumer Behavior
3. The Brand Tactics
4. Brand Awareness
5. Perceived Quality
6. Brand Association
7. Brand Loyalty
8. Brand Strategy

Chapter 2 Online Joint Class Session 3 Highlight

This session was the third and final session of online joint class chapter 2 between Telkom University and Universiti Kuala Lumpur which was attended by multiple students across the two universities and learned about how important smart logistics in the modern era. This final session of the chapter 2 was also held on December 15th, 2022, where the two amazing speakers and lecturers in chapter 2 from both universities shared their research and point of view about smart logistics. They are Hardian Kokoh Pambudi, S.T., M.T., M.B.A. from Telkom University, and Ts. Dr. Hairul Rizad Sapry and Ts. Jamilahtun Md Ghazali from Universiti Kuala Lumpur. The main topics and points in this session included:

1. Smart Logistics a Strategic Differentiator
2. Role of Logistics
3. Evolution of Logistics
4. Digital Transformation (Logistics 4.0/Internet of Things)
5. The Six Stage of Digital Transformation
6. Right Product, Right Place, Right Price, Right Costumer

Both chapters of the online joint class were successfully initiated in all sessions between Telkom University and Universiti Kuala Lumpur, and we hope that in the future we will have more of the online joint class from different universities that want to collaborate with Telkom University and build the purpose of teaching young students and generations across the countries.
