Tel-U Students Goes to University of Malaya

Telkom University Students Goes to University of Malaya. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Telkom University delegates arrived safely at University of Malaya on October 20th, 2019 to participate in Joint Short Course Telkom University & University of Malaya for next six days, Sunday-Saturday (20-26/10/2019). They are 15 students coming from various majors in Telkom University, guided by 1 international office staff of Telkom University. Before finally selected as Telkom University delegates, they were involved in the selection process in September 2019, including required documents review.

Telkom University delegates were officially welcomed by University of Malaya on the Opening Ceremony held on Monday, October 21st, 2019. They are going to learn and practice on the Data Analysis, Drone Automation, and Games. Besides, they will also participate in industrial visit and cultural tour in Malaysia. During the program, they are staying at University of Malaya’s dormitory.

This program is expected to enable Telkom University’s delegates experience international lectures and practices when they can also interact with other students coming from different countries. Hope this opportunities will be beneficial for them to exchange knowledge, experiences, as well as cultures. In addition, this program is also designed to train their responsibilities both individually and in team since they come to Malaysia as Telkom University’s delegates.

This program is the forth batch of Joint Short Course Program, held by Telkom University and University of Malaya. This outbound program is organized by University of Malaya as the realization of the reciprocal cooperation with Telkom University. It means that University of Malaya’s delegates will also join the Joint Short Course program at Telkom University, organized and funded by Telkom University. It is arranged to be held on November 3rd-9th, 2019.

Furthermore, Telkom University also has other Short Course Program, collaborated with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Multimedia University (MMU), and so on. As a short course program, it is usually held for one or two weeks. University delegates join the program reciprocally, as well known as inbound and outbound program.(IO)***
