Erasmus+ Sharing Session. Who’s waiting for Erasmus Programme Information? Well, yesterday (04/11/2019), Telkom University invited International Offices from various Universities in West Java to the Information Session on Erasmus+ Programmeme European Union. Attended by 28 delegates of universities, the Information Session on Erasmus+ Programme ran smoothly.
In this occasion, the representative of Erasmus shared the information on European Higher Education Fair (EHEF). This information was one of the important information for all universities to prepare the students attending the event for them to get more information on the university they are interested in.
Other topics being discussed in the event were 1) Basic Information on Participant Identification Code (PIC) Number, 2) Erasmus+I International Credit Mobility (ICM); staff and student exchange from and to Europe, 3) Erasmus+ Capasity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), and 4) Jean Monnet Funding Opportunity to promote European Studies.
Basically, Erasmus+ programme is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Erasmus+ also aims to promote the sustainable development of its partners in the field of higher education, and contribute to achieving the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy.
Previously, Telkom University had joined the staff exchange programme to Barcelona University, Spain in 2017. The programme was conducted in five days. This programme was intended to dig more on the process of managing Erasmus+ A4U project, to share experiences with staff who managed Erasmus+ projects at A4U and A4U universities, and to learn about the implementation of international mobility. Besides, in 2018, Telkom University sent staff exchange programme again to Spain. Same as previous staff exchange, they joined the training session at the programme.
This year, hopefully Telkom University can joined another Erasmus+ programme including student exchange programme. So, TelUtizen, stay tuned on the next information of Erasmus+ Programme. Maybe, it’s your time to join the international mobility programme sponsored by Erasmus+ programme.(IO)***
