Fun with Games and Robotics. Telkom University received 15 students of University of Malaya to undergo the Joint Short Course Telkom University and University of Malaya. I hope this collaboration will continue for next coming years and can be extended to the other projects”, she said.

The Director of Admission and International Office, Rinna Fridiana, SE., MM warmly welcomed all delegates of University of Malaya. “Welcome to Telkom University for all University of Malaya’s students. Hope you all enjoy the program and have great experences at Telkom University”, she welcomed all delegates from University of Malaya. Right after the opening ceremony, all inbound participants learned and practiced making game application, trained by the lecturers of Informatics Engineering and Multimedia System. They were so enthusiastic to make their own game application. Moreover,  they are going to learn robotics including The Introduction to Arduino and Line Follower Robot that are taught and assisted by lecturers and students of Computer Technology. Coding and programming were the main course of the lectures session. Again, they were so ambitious to create the robot. The sound of “Beep” derived from the robotics tools made the class so much fun. They were also challenged to create their own robot and present them in the end of the program. Thus during the lecture session, they fully concentrated to what the lecturers guided and worked conscientiously on their robotics tools.

Besides classroom based activities, they are going to have industrial visit to PT Agate International, one of Indonesian game developers and have Bandung city tour.

This Joint Short Course Telkom University and University of Malaya will be ended by having game presentation and robotic presentation right before the closing ceremony on Friday, November 8, 2019. All students from University of Malaya will go back to their home country on Saturday, November 9, 2019.(IO)***
