QS WUR 2022: Telkom University Ranked 1001-1200. Another good news is coming for TelUtizen in the middle of 2021, is QS WUR. As the best private university, Telkom University recently has been announced as university ranked 1001-1200 in QS WUR. This is the first time Telkom University includes in QS WUR Ranking.
Previously, Telkom University obtained a brilliant achievement in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asian University Rankings (AUR) which released its latest list of leading universities in Indonesia. Telkom University is still the only private university that occupies the 8th place in Indonesia with a total score of 17.35. Finally, this year Telkom University is a QS WUR university.
Now, along with the above achievements, QS WUR 2022 released that Telkom University achieved an overall score of 8.1. This makes Telkom University ranked 1001-1200 in the QS WUR or world ranking, and is included in the ranks of the top 9 leading universities in Indonesia. The results of the QS WUR scores above are based on several assessments including: Academic Reputation (5); Employer Reputation (6.2); Citation per Faculty (1.3); Faculty Students (24); International Faculty (4.8); and International Students (2.4).

Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings or QS WUR is a world university ranking agency based in London, England, using an assessment based on a rating evaluation system related to innovation, openness, educational services which include research and teaching, benefit to the surrounding community (community service) and also related to resource support. For several years Telkom University tried to be in QS WUR.
According to the methodology used by QS WUR, the Academic Reputation Score is the highest weighting of any metric (40%). For about 130,000 individuals in the higher education space share their expert opinions regarding teaching and research quality at the world’s universities. Telkom University managed to get a score of 5 in the Academic Reputation category. This shows that the existence of Telkom University in the international arena is well recognized. Yes, even during the Covid-19 pandemic since last 2020, Telkom University still exists by holding various activities including internationalization programs by utilizing the virtual mobility program. The internationalization program, in addition to providing a good Academic Reputation can also boost other assessment categories such as the International Student Ratio where the Telkom University Virtual Mobility Programs involve many international students from various countries. This is how Telkom University got into QS WUR Ranking.
