Latvia Scholarship for Summer School Program 2020
Latvia Scholarship for Summer School Program 2020 is a scholarship offered by Republic of Latvia for foreign students to participate in summer schools in Latvian higher education institutions (HEIs) in the 2020/2021 academic year.
ELIGIBLE APPLICANT
The calls are OPEN for Telkom University student.
APPLICATION
The application is open from 1 February 2020 until 1 April 2020.
PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION
- The applicant choose the Summer School Programs offered at: bit.ly/SummerSchoolSubject2020
- The applicant read detailed information including information of the program, procedure of application, and all required documents on the website of the higher education institution in Latvia organizing the summer school.
- The applicant should notify International Office of Telkom University regarding his/her participation in the application.
- Necessary required documents:
- Application form of the summer school.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Motivation letter.

DURATION
The program will take around 2 weeks-1 month (Depends on the program chosen). The detailed information of the program can be found out on the website of each summer school program.
FINANCIAL PROVISIONS
- The amount of the Latvian scholarship granted by the VIAA for summer school is 711 EUR per person for the duration of the summer school.
- The scholarships will be transferred by the VIAA to the summer school organizers, no money will be handed out to the Latvian scholarship winners.
- The participants of the summer schools have to cover travel expenses from the country of origin to the summer school location in Latvia themselves.
EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS AND INFORMATION ON RESULTS
The final decision on granting scholarships will be made by the evaluation committee of VIAA. Higher education institutions will inform all applicants on the results.
