IOSBC “BTS” Series 1. IOSBC or International Office Student Buddy Club of Telkom University held the Buddies Throwback Session (BTS) Series #1 on Saturday (7/6) by inviting international students of Telkom University. This program was created as a reunion session for buddies with the international students as well as sharing experiences and conditions. This activity involving several international students who have participated in exchange or short course program in Telkom University.

In this activity, buddies and international students shared their past activities when studying at Telkom University, during the pandemic and when stay at home. Sophie, one of the exchange students from the Saxion University Netherlands told about the thing she missed the most when she was at Telkom University. At that time, she liked attending boxing training with one of the exchange students from Madagascar. Besides Sophie, there were also some students from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) who talked about her longing for Indonesian foods.

The students also shared the condition and their activities in their home country. In this session, IOSBC also presented several footage videos containing the activities of the student exchange when studying at Telkom University. In addition, on this occasion, IOSBC also presented testimonials video from several international students about their responses to the pandemic situation and what things they did during quarantine when they returned to their respective countries.

Moreover, this event also aims to provide information about program they can participate in Telkom University such as join course program. All participants who attended this activity looked very enthusiastic especially the buddies who were able to meet again with international students whom they have ever assisted even though virtually. This activity is not the only activity held by IOSBC with the international students. After this session, there will be another session by inviting number of international students to be held on June 13, 2020. So, stay tune! (IO)***
