IFEX WEEK 2023 AT UUM

IFEX Week 2023 at UUM. Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) greets and welcomes Telkom University to participate in International Faculty Exchange Week (IFEX): Global Horizon in Management and Technology: Navigating Innovation and Digital Transformation in a Connected World. IFEX Week 2023 at UUM is inviting lecturers from partner universities from Indonesia, including Telkom University to teach emerging topics in management and technology. The outcomes of this IFEX Week 2023 are invited lectures and collaborative final-year project supervision or COIL projects.

PROGRAM PERIOD OF IFEX WEEK 2023 AT UUM

International Faculty Exchange Week (IFEX) at UUM will start from 5 to 9 November 2023. The lecturers who have got the opportunity to teach at UUM are required to visit Malaysia during IFEX Week 2023 at UUM.

Telkom University lecturers who would like to participate in IFEX Week 2023 at UUM must register the internal selection step by making an online registration at https://bit.ly/IFEXatUUM23.

APPLICATION DEADLINE OF IFEX WEEK 2023 AT UUM

Telkom University lecturers who are interested in participating in IFEX Week 2023 in Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Malaysia must register beforehand to the internal application link NO LATER than August 30ᵗʰ, 2023.

PROGRAM MODE OF IFEX WEEK 2023 AT UUM

All chosen lecturers of Telkom University must join IFEX Week 2023 onsite at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Malaysia.

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATING IN IFEX WEEK 2023 AT UUM

1. An active lecturer at Telkom University;
2. Having English Communication Skill;
3. Planning to join collaborative teaching.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS OF IFEX WEEK 2023 AT UUM

Internal Nomination Steps of IFEX Week 2023 at UUM:

1. A scanned employee ID Card
2. A scanned passport
3. Curriculum Vitae

REQUIREMENTS FOR BEING APPOINTED AS A VISITING LECTURER

1. The appointment period for a visiting lecturer is FOUR (4) months
2. A visiting lecturer must teach at least SIX (6) hours. 1.5 hours during IFEX at UUM 2023 and another 4.5 hours remotely during the appointment.
3. A visiting lecturer must (at least perform one of the following):
4. Be a co-supervisor and supervise at least TWO (2) students undergoing their final year project remotely until its completion within the appointment OR
5. Organise and supervise ONE (1) COIL project OR
6. Participate/ present at a conference organised by UUM OR
7. Any other engagement deemed appropriate by the Dean of School

2. Applicants prepare required documents for internal nomination step.
3. Applicants make an online registration for the nomination step at: https://bit.ly/IFEXatUUM23.
4. Applicants wait for the next announcement regarding passed nomination to participate in IFEX at UUM 2023 from International Office of Telkom University.
5. Once passed the nomination, applicants will be assisted to apply to the official online application of IFEX Week 2023 at UUM.
