UUM Fall Program 2024. University Utara Malaysia (UUM) welcomes international students from any of our partner universities who are eligible to pursue their study at our campus for a period of one semester or two semesters. Students can choose from a wide range of courses which are offered by 15 Schools in UUM.

PROGRAM PERIOD OF UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024

UUM Fall Program 2024 offers a program for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students for 6 (six) months or one semester. The program typically starts in October 2024 to February 2025.

APPLICATION DEADLINE OF UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024

Telkom University students who want to participate in the Fall Program 2024 at Universiti Utara Malaysia must register beforehand via the internal application link before May 15^th, 2024.

PROGRAM FEE UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024

1. Mobility Fee

Exchange students from partner universities are eligible for mobility fee exemption.

2. Living Expenses

Living in Malaysia is very affordable. The overall expenses of living on campus for a single student are estimated between MYR1,000.00 – MYR1,500.00 per person per month (USD250-USD375). This includes room, books, food, personal expenditures, and travel within the state of Kedah. The total cost varies depending on personal requirements and lifestyle.

3. Health Insurance

International students are required to obtain insurance coverage while studying in Malaysia. It is compulsory to purchase insurance from the EMGS system while applying for Visa Approval Letter (e-VAL).

APPLICANT’S ELIGIBILITY FOR UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024

1. Active Telkom University undergraduate students
2. Having excellent academic records and good honors with GPA 3.00 (out of 4.00) or above
3. Having good English communication skills, proved by English at level TOEFL-iBT 61/higher or Telkom University EPrT 500.
4. Being passed the nomination step

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024

As the first step, Telkom University students must prepare all the required documents for joining UUM Fall Program 2024, such as:

1. Scan of Student ID Card
2. Recent Academic Transcript in English
3. Scan of English Proficiency Certificate at level TOEFL-iBT 61/higher or Telkom University EPrT 500.
4. Formal Photo

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR OFFICIAL REGISTRATION

Follow these additional requirements for official registration to participate in UUM Fall Program 2024:

1. Formal photo in jpg format which is under 500KB in size
2. A copy of passport
3. Bank certificate
4. Application form
5. International Health Insurance
6. Family Relation Certificate (only for applicants with bank certificate under their father or mother’s name)
7. Letter of Recommendation by International Office of Telkom University (only for applicants who don’t meet the GPA or language requirement)

APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024

1. Applicant reads detailed information of UUM Fall Program 2024 HERE.
2. Applicant consults with academic supervisor related to participation in the program, including the courses’ selection.
3. Applicant prepares required documents for the internal nomination step at Telkom University.
4. Applicants make an online registration for the nomination step at: http://tiny.cc/UUMFall2024 before May 15th, 2024.
5. Wait for the next announcement regarding the CHOSEN nomination of UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024 from the International Office of Telkom University.
6. Once the nomination, the applicant will be guided to apply to the official online application for UUM FALL PROGRAM 2024.
