THESIS PRIZE: THE INDONESIA NETHERLANDS THESIS PRIZE 2023. TelUtizen, have you written an interesting Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis? If yes, apply and participate in the Thesis Prize of the Indonesia Netherlands thesis Prize 2023.

The Indonesia Nederland Society, in close collaboration with our partners PPI Belanda, Nuffic Southeast Asia, and Garuda Indonesia, is pleased to present the first-ever Indonesia Netherlands Thesis Prize. By participating in this thesis prize event, you may be the one who might get a prize: a return ticket to Jakarta-Amsterdam or Amsterdam-Jakarta. On top of that, Telkom University students will gain much experience in participating this program because this Thesis Prize will give students a platform to express their ideas, promote student-led research, and make that research accessible to the general public.

WHY SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE INDONESIA NETHERLANDS THESIS PRIZE 2023?

1. It’s a prestigious event held by the Indonesia Nederland Society in collaboration with their partners PPI Belanda, Nuffic Southeast Asia and Garuda Indonesia for this Indonesia Netherlands Thesis Prize 2023.
2. Telkom University students will get the opportunity to express their ideas and it will be widely recognized by bigger society.
3. The point of the thesis must be correlated to the region and get connected to Indonesia, the Netherlands, ASEAN, and/or the European Union.
4. The winner of the Indonesia Netherlands thesis Prize 2023 will be the student who brings up the strongest pitch for his or her Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis.
5. A return ticket Jakarta-Amsterdam or vice versa will be won by the winner of the Indonesia Netherlands Thesis prize 2023 with terms and conditions apply.

THE REQUIREMENTS IN PARTICIPATING IN THE INDONESIA NETHERLANDS THESIS PRIZE 2023

1. The Indonesia Netherlands Thesis Prize is eligible in all academic disciplines.
2. The topic should have an impact on the region and be pertinent to Indonesia, the Netherlands, ASEAN, or the European Union.
3. Thesis evaluation period: from August 31, 2020, to June 30, 2023.
4. Research that stands out in terms of topic, theory, and methodology, and preferably adopts a unique viewpoint, offers fresh perspectives, and has application to both science and society.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES TO APPLY FOR THE INDONESIA NETHERLANDS THESIS PRIZE 2023

Telkom University bachelor and master students who’d like to apply for the Indonesia Netherlands Thesis Prize 2023 should notice these following documents:

1. A digital copy of the Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis;
2. Proof of the grade program received;
3. A written conclusion of your thesis in no more than 500 English words;
4. A recorded video statement of 5 minutes (max.) pitching your thesis to a general audience.

*Participants should emphasize the relevance for regional impact and the relation between Indonesia and the Netherlands (or ASEAN-EU).

*All the procedures must be submitted before 31 July 2023 to email INS.thesisprize@gmail.com 

EVALUATION PROCESS

1. If Telkom University student wins and becomes the top 3 applicants, a jury will select and invite them to present their pitch ONLINE during WINNER around 10 and 12 October 2023.
2. During the event, the jury of the Indonesia Netherlands Thesis Prize 2023 event will determine the winner of the return ticket Jakarta-Amsterdam or Amsterdam-Jakarta.
