STAFF EXCHANGE BY ERASMUS+ MOBILITY GRANT

STAFF EXCHANGE BY ERASMUS+ MOBILITY GRANT. Staff Exchange Program is a mobility program that provides greater professional and personal development inputs. Nowadays, one of the prestigious staff exchange programs is Staff Exchange by Erasmus+ Mobility Grant. Alliance of 4 Universities (A4U) has been awarded funds under Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program, which enables staff from A4U universities and its partner universities, including Telkom University to undertake a mobility stay. For 2023-2024, Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program is officially calling for participants. Please note the following information on staff exchange by Erasmus+ mobility grant.

 

OBJECTIVES OF STAFF EXCHANGE BY ERASMUS+

The main objectives of the staff exchange program are:

  1. To offer training and research opportunities to staff at participating universities.
  2. To help mobility participants improve their professional, social and inter-cultural skills, as well as employability, and to promote cross-cultural exchange and dialogue.
  3. To forge and deepen lasting links between A4U universities and its partner universities,
  4. enhancing their transnational academic cooperation.

 

PROGRAM PERIOD OF STAFF EXCHANGE BY ERASMUS+

For staff exchange, the program period is 5 days with 2 days for travel, covering 7 days in total. This staff exchange program will be carried out in 2023-2024 academic year. Exceptionally, this staff exchange program can be postponed to 2024-2025 academic year, yet all mobilities should end by 31 July 2025

The calls for staff exchange program by Erasmus+ Mobility Grant will be closed on March 24th, 2023.

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR STAFF EXCHANGE BY ERASMUS+

The call is open to all subject areas. Applicants must check that the requested mobility proposal matches the offer available at the host university. Telkom University staff who are interested to join this staff exchange by Erasmus+ must meet the following requirements:

  1. An active Telkom University staff.
  2. Having excellent work performance.
  3. Approved by direct supervisor.
  4. Having good English communication skills, proved by IELTS/TOEFL/EPRT

 

PROGRAM OF STAFF EXCHANGE BY ERASMUS+

Staff exchange can be for teaching, training, or both. Teaching and administrative staff can apply. Note the following terms and condition of the program of staff exchange:

  1. During mobility for teaching, staff should deliver at least 8 hours of teaching.
  2. During mobility for training, staff should engage in professional development activities such as training events (excluding conferences), job shadowing, observation periods, or training at the receiving institution.
  3. Mobility can also be for teaching and training. In this case, the minimum number of hours of teaching is 4 hours per week.

Prior to the start of the mobility, an Interinstitutional Agreement must be executed between the home and host universities.

 

STAFF EXCHANGE BY ERASMUS+ PROCEDURES

  1. Applicants read detail information of Staff Exchange Program by Erasmus+ Mobility Grant. Detailed information can be accessed at: https://alliance4universities.eu/en/mobility-scholarships/
  2. Applicants must complete an online application form and attach the following documentation:
    • Abridged CV
    • Mobility Agreement for teaching or training, signed by the applicant and the responsible program (International Office of Telkom University)
  3. Applicants wait for selection results, published on A4U website http://alliance4universities.eu/en/mobilityscholarships/ and announced to the beneficiaries and partner universities by e-mail.

 

COVERAGE OF ERASMUS+ GRANT

The mobility grant consists of a travel allowance and a daily subsistence allowance according to the flat rates determined by the Erasmus+ Program. The grant is a contribution towards the costs of the planned Erasmus+ mobility period.
