MoA Signing with Shizuoka University

MoA Signing with Shizuoka University. Dare to have joint research with some researchers from all around the world? Telkom University provides joint research program with other international partners to enhance collaborative research to investigate as well as to solve current issues happening in academic and social life. As one of the three pillars of education, research and experiment are very important parts for the development of science and technology. As we know that through research, the advanced and modern civilizations are exist. That’s why Telkom University is committed to actively contribute in the research to promote a better life.

At the end of this year, Telkom University, represented by School of Industrial Engineering, established cooperation with Tanaka Laboratory, Department of Informatics, Shizuoka University, Japan in terms of joint research program. The collaboration aims to foster the joint research collaboration as well as to promote cross-culture understanding among researchers. Telkom University, represented by Dr. Agus Achmad Suhendra, the Dean of School of Industrial Engineering, signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Shizuoka University, represented by Prof. Hirokazu Tanaka, on December 19th, 2019. Later on, both universities agreed to strengthen this cooperation through MoU signing.

This MoA signing was also attended by Prof. Hamada from Shizuoka University, and some Telkom University’s representatives including International Class Academic Office (ICAO) and School of Industrial Engineering. The collaboration includes joint research workshop in the field of information system at Technoprenership Laboratory, School of Industrial Engineering, Telkom University. This program is started from December 17th-25th, 2019. Besides, both parties agreed to have collaboration on student mobility program including Business Game and Program Based Learning.

Through this collaboration it is expected that all university academia from both universities can easily join and promote the internationalization program especially in the joint research. Thus, everyone can contribute to make a better future.(IO)***
