Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024 awaits you. It is a Short-Term Exchange Program (STEP) at Kumamoto University for Fall Semester 2024. The Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024 is designed for full-time 3rd year foreign undergraduate students at universities that have a student exchange agreement with Kumamoto University. The program offers courses on the Japanese language, Japanese and Asian society and culture, and advanced science and technology. However exchange students usually take E courses when the courses delivered in English.

Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024 is accepted for a half year or one full year that starts in Fall Semester which is from October to March/September

APPLICATION DEADLINE OF KUMAMOTO FALL STEP 2024
Telkom University students who want to participate in the Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024 must register beforehand via the internal application link before March 7th, 2024.
PROGRAM OFFERED IN KUMAMOTO FALL STEP 2024
E-Course: Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024 course mainly takes STEP classes taught in English and the Japanese Language classes provided in Japanese. These classes will not be calculated towards program completion.
J-Course: Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024 mainly takes classes in specialized subjects for undergraduate students of each faculty, as well as Japanese Language classes. General education classes are also available. All STEP Classes are taught in English.

APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY FOR KUMAMOTO FALL STEP 2024
- Telkom University Undergraduate students
- Having excellent academic records and good honors with GPA 3.00 (out of 4.00) or above
- Having good English communication skills, proved by English at level TOEFL-iBT 61/higher or Telkom University EPrT 500.
- Being passed the nomination step of an exchange program
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR KUMAMOTO FALL STEP 2024
As the first step, Telkom University students must prepare all the required documents for joining Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024, such as:
- Scan of Student ID Card
- Recent Academic Transcript in English
- Scan of English Proficiency Certificate at level TOEFL-iBT 61/higher or Telkom University EPrT 500.
- Formal Photo

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR OFFICIAL REGISTRATION
Follow these additional requirements for official registration to participate in Kumamoto Fall STEP 2024:
- Formal photo in jpg format which is under 500KB in size
- A copy of passport
- Bank certificate
- Application form
- Family Relation Certificate (only for applicants with bank certificate under their father or mother’s name)
- Letter of Recommendation by International Office of Telkom University (only for applicants who don’t meet the GPA or language requirement)
