Global Business Virtual Masterclass 2021. Global Business Virtual Masterclass is a mobility program organized by Chitkara University, India in collaboration with Telkom University. A number of excellent lecturers from both Telkom University and Chitkara University share insightful materials to the participants virtually in this Global Business Virtual Masterclass for a week starting on November 22 to November 26, 2021.

In this Global Business Virtual Masterclass there are 5 classes with the interesting topics as follow:

  1. Digital Marketing-CRM, delivered by Dr. Maria Sugiat, a lecturer of Telkom University and assisted by buddy professor, Dr. Muskaan Arora from Chitkara University.
  2. Ethic, Value and Leadership, presented by Dr. Astadi Pangarso, a lecturer of Telkom University and assisted by buddy professor, Dr. Shuchi from Chitkara University.
  3. Digital Marketing, employed by Dr. Adhi Prasetio, a lecturer of Telkom University and assisted by buddy professor, Dr. Rashmi Aggarwal from Chitkara University.
  4. Foreign Direct Investment Trends in Global Economies, shared by Dr.Yuhana, a lecturer of Telkom University and assisted by buddy professor, Dr. Abhishek Anand from Chitkara University.
  5. Society 5.0-Big Data Analytics, AI and Blockchain Technology, discussed by Dr. Andrya, a lecturer of Telkom University and assisted by buddy professor, Dr. Archana Goel from Chitkara University.

Global Business Virtual Masterclass Day 1 Highlights

Well, generally, almost all classes are running parallel at the same time, except for Dr. Andry Class in Society 5.0-Big Data Analytics, AI and Blockchain Technology, the 5th topic of Global Business Virtual Masterclass. At the 1st day of Global Business Virtual Masterclass (22/11/2021), participants, before got to know more to the material, were introduced to cultural exchange on the similarities and differences between Indonesia and India. This case was intended to bring global mindset among participants that our cultures are precious and we can live in harmony in diversity.

Dr. Mia in Digital Marketing-CRM class, the 1st topic of Global Business Virtual Masterclass discussed online food shopping as one of digital marketing strategies which is trending globally in this era. Several cases of online food shopping both from Indonesia and India experienced by the customers were interestingly discussed.

Dr. Astadi Pangarso, in Ethic, Value and Leadership class, the 2nd topic of Global Business Virtual Masterclass shared about what cultural value such as norm, value, morality, and rule. Ethic, according to Dr. Astadi presentation, is defined as a set of knowledge about human judgment to their behavior, while norms are very close to belief and global view. They are learned through time.

In Digital Marketing class, the 3rd topic of Global Business Virtual Masterclass, participants learned material on Business Model & Marketing Strategy, Web Site Development, Online Marketing Communication Alternatives, Content Development, and Online Marketing Metrics & Evaluation from Dr. Adhi Prasetio, while in Foreign Direct Investment Trends in Global Economies class, the 4th topic of Global Business Virtual Masterclass by Dr. Yuhana, participants got insight on critical factors for market assessment.
