Digital Transformation: The Role of Youth. Digital Transformation. Unsurprisingly, the main benefits of digital transformation come from the technology that makes it possible. However, digital transformation is also about removing outdated ideas and processes in favor of new and innovative technology that’s appropriate for specific matters.

Responding to the euphoria of digital transformation, International Office Telkom University organized After Class Talk Episode 6 on International Student Series. The title of ACT Episode 6 is Digital Transformation: The role of youth in regulating the emergence of digital solutions and it was held on Thursday, 17 November 2022 at 1 pm.

The digital transformation: The role of youth in regulating the emergence of digital solutions event invited 2 foreign students from two different countries. Andrea Aleman, Marine Science student at Hasanuddin University from Honduras and Haddy Joof, Communications Science student  at Telkom University from Gambia.

Opening the first interval of digital transformation: The role of youth in regulating the emergence of digital solutions, Andrea stated that digital transformation was driven by two important areas such as technology and the increase of availability and usage of data.

Haddy Joof opens the second interval of digital transformation: The role of youth in regulating the emergence of digital solutions by explaining about why digital transformation matters? She explains that digital transformation makes it easy to stay in touch with friends, family, and work remotely, even if you are in another part of the world. You can express through words, video, audio, and exchange other media.

In conclusion, digital transformation leads youth to some opportunities to offer services, to develop products, to make innovations and to drive the change in their communities that they could not realize otherwise.
