Commitment Capital, Students FKB Tel-U got Third Champion PR Case
BANDUNG, TEL-U -Tel-U Students back incised achievement. This time the achievement was reached by three students of Communication and Business Faculty, Communication Study Program Telkom University (FKB Tel-U). They won 3rd Place in Competition of Public Relations Case, Communication’s Day, Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta which was held on Saturday (30/5) then.
Public Relations Case was one of the competitions which held for the Dies Natalis of Communication Sciences University of Ahmad Dahlan in Yogyakarta. The team from Tel-U consists of Budi Setiawan, Surya Putri Dinda, and Nadya Rahmani Shiddqi.
According to Budi, the contest themed “Crisis Management” they didn’t gain the idea of the material to be contested. “So our team only learned from the case we get from the internet and given the capital of the material learned in class ever before,” he said.
At the time of the race, said Budi, they were given only 60 minutes to solve a case of airline company. When the team handed over the problem solution, the juries assess and select five teams in the final and had the opportunity to present the results that have been done. One of them was Tel-U team. “We were given ten minutes, and Alhamdulillah everything went good” said Budi.
Besides Tel-U, the two other teams in the top five among others were from Atma Jaya University and the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalidjaga. “Presentation they convey were very nice, structured, and having the sharpness of the analysis. Perhaps those were influenced by their experiences during the competition up to eight semesters, “said Budi.
Finally, on the eve of the summit conferment, the juries decided that the team who won the 3rd Champion was Tel-U. The 1st and 2nd were won by a team from Atma Jaya University. “This is our first contest which capitalized by goodwill, determination and support from various parties, but we can take part,” said Budi as he thanked the senior in college who had guided them.
