Celebrating Asia Africa Conference, Cultural Parade Held in Bandung
BANDUNG – Since 07.00 AM, Asia Afrika Street has been visited by the citizens and Bandung tourist, Sturday (04/24 2015). Security have been closed the main road along two kilometers started from Simpang Lama, Asia Afrika, and Otto Iskandardinata. This Parade along Asia Afrika Street in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia belong to commemorate 60th Asian African Conference that followed by 25 countries such as China, South Korea, Thailand, Palestine, Egypt and other Asia Africa Country.
The parade started at 11.00 A.M until 23.00 P.M, with more than 100 participants from communities for example Sepeda Onthel Communities, Bandung Bersih and many more. Beside, every country send their delegates to celebrates 60th commemoration of Asia, Africa.
Bandung mayor, Ridwan Kamil and Indonesia Tourism of Minister, Arief Yahya together enliven the parade riding Bandung’s special transportation ‘Bandros’. More than 800 officers from Indonesia security police and Pamong Praja keep the swiftness and securities Bandung city.
On night, video mapping that represent reenactment of history Asian, African Conference 1955 presented in Gedung Merdeka, Bandung. The parade ended with fireworks parade by performers from various country.
