IU Student Exchange. Innopolis University (IU) is primarily focused on education, research, and projects in the fields of IT and Robotics. The university has 17 laboratories and 8 research centers that specialize in but are not limited to Software and Service Engineering, Intelligent Robotics Systems, Computer Security, Data Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence.
IU is engaged in significant academic exchange sending and receiving students, faculty members, and staff from various countries. It is one of the most culturally diverse institutions in Russia. With the English language being the only language of instruction, the University provides an encouraging and comfortable international environment complemented by modern facilities.

PROGRAM PERIOD OF IU STUDENT EXCHANGE
The program starts in mid-August until mid-December 2024.

Telkom University students need to apply for internal registration to join IU Student Exchange before participating in the program at: http://tiny.cc/IUStudex2024
INTERNAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE OF IU STUDENT EXCHANGE
Telkom University students who want to participate in the IU Student Exchange at Innapolis University must register beforehand via the internal application link before April 21st, 2024.
COURSES OF IU STUDENT EXCHANGE
Students from Partner Universities are invited to study for one or two semesters as exchange students at Innopolis University in the following fields:
- Software Engineering: Managing Software development, Personal Software Processes, Architectures for Software Systems
- Robotics and Computer Vision: Robotics and Mechatronics, Robot Dynamics, Sensors, Perception and Actuation
- Artificial Intelligence and DTA Engineering: Statistics, Machine Learning, Big Data Technologies and Analytics, Information Retrieval
- Security and Network Engineering: Security Systems and Networks, CyberCrime and Forensics, Networking, Large Systems
- Information and Technology Entrepreneurship: IT Business Start, No-Code Development, Product Development, Economics in IT Business
NOTES: Exchange students from Partner Universities are free to choose courses from any track as long as their schedules do not overlap. Upon successful completion of the exchange studies exchange students are provided with a transcript of records, which specifies the subjects taken at Innopolis University, their workload in credits and hours, and grades earned.
APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR IU STUDENT EXCHANGE
- Active Telkom University undergraduate students who have passed 1 year study.
- Having excellent academic records, min GPA 3.0 and/or above.
- Having good English communication skills, proved by English at level CEFR B2 (IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 785, IBT 72, ITP 543, Duolingo 90 or EPrT 500* (for the internal registration only).
- Being nominated by International Office of Telkom University.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR IU STUDENT EXCHANGE
As the first step, Telkom University students must prepare all the required documents for joining IU Student Exchange, such as:
- Scan of Student ID Card
- Recent Academic Transcript in English
- Scan of English Proficiency Certificate.
- Formal Photo

Follow these additional requirements for official registration to participate in IU Student Exchange
(for Visa Application):
- Formal photo in jpg format which is under 500KB in size
- A copy of passport
- Bank certificate
- Application form
- International Health Insurance
- Family Relation Certificate (only for applicants with bank certificate under their father or mother’s name)
- Letter of Recommendation by International Office of Telkom University (only for applicants who don’t meet the GPA or language requirement)
APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR IU STUDENT EXCHANGE
- Applicant reads detailed information of IU Student Exchange HERE.
- Applicant consults with academic supervisor related to participation in the program, including the courses’ selection.
- Applicant prepares required documents for the internal nomination step at Telkom University.
- Applicants make an online registration for the nomination step at: http://tiny.cc/IUStudex2024 before April 21st, 2024.
- Wait for the next announcement regarding the CHOSEN nomination of IU Student Exchange from the International Office of Telkom University.
- Once the nomination, the applicant will be guided to apply to the official online application for IU Student Exchange.
DORMITORY OVERVIEW IN IU STUDENT EXCHANGE
All residential college rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a bed (extra-long twin), dresser, desk, chair, trash can, recycling container, and window coverings. Each residential college room is wired for internet access. Wireless internet access is available throughout campus.
PRICES and FEES
- 135 RUB per day (twin room) (campus 1-4)
- 125 RUB per day (4 beds room) (campus 1-4)
- 150 RUB per day (twin room) (campus 5-7)
- 140 RUB per day (4 beds room) (campus 5-7)
- Payment is done monthly
- Meals are not included in the price
