HIWS PROGRAM 2023 (Hanyang International Winter School). Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea greets and welcomes Telkom University students to join and participate actively in 2023 Hanyang International Winter School Program (HIWS Program 2023). This program has two types, which are a short course program of a two-week stay with Hanyang in winter and Internship Program. The former program will focus on exciting activities including a one-day ski trip that will attract students’ attention in exploring all corners of the Korean culture on weekend time. On weekdays, participants will also gain insight by participating and joining the weekdays tours organized by the HGL that will be one of the extraordinary ways to have a well-rounded snapshot of the contemporary Korean lifestyle. Now, HIWS offers new program, named Internship Program for students who wish to gain an experience by having an internship program at Hanyang University in the field of Business, Engineering, Creative Media, or Entrepreneurship. So, challenge yourself, broaden your knowledge, and gain more by joining and participating in HIWS 2023 at one of Korea’s leading universities, Hanyang University.

PROGRAM PERIOD OF HIWS PROGRAM 2023

HIWS Program 2023:

1. HIWS Program for Short Course Program:

• One Session (Session A or Session B)

          Session A: December 27, 2023 – January 12, 2024

          Session B: January 18 – February 02, 2024

• Two Sessions (Session A and Session B): December 27, 2023 – February 02, 2024

2. HIWS for Internship Program:

Program Period: December 14, 2023 – February 2, 2024 (8 weeks)

Internship: December 14, 2023 – January 10, 2024 (4 weeks)

HIWS Session B: January 18 – February 2, 2024 (3 weeks)

APPLICATION DEADLINE OF HIWS PROGRAM 2023

The application deadline for Telkom University students who are interested in participating in HIWS Program 2023 will be on September 30^th, 2023.

PROGRAM MODE OF HIWS PROGRAM 2023

All eligible students of Telkom University must join the HIWS 2023 onsite at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea.

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATING IN HIWS PROGRAM 2023

1. Active Telkom University students who have passed 2 semesters for undergraduate program or one year of study at Telkom University.
2. Having excellent academic records, min GPA 3.0 and/or above.
3. Having good English communication skills, proved by English Proficiency Certificate min score of 500 of EPrT.
4. Being nominated by International Office of Telkom University.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS OF HIWS PROGRAM 2023

Internal Nomination Steps of HIWS Program 2023:

1. A scan of Student ID Card
2. A scan copy of academic transcript
3. A scan copy of English Language Proficiency Certificate
4. A formal photo

1. Applicants read the information of HIWS Program 2023. (Read more HERE)
2. Applicants consult with academic supervisor related to participation in the program, including the course selection and the internship program.
3. Applicants prepare required documents for internal nomination step.
4. Applicants make an online registration for the nomination step at: https://bit.ly/internalregHIWS23 .
5. Applicants wait for the next announcement regarding passed nomination to participate in HIWS Program 2023 from International Office of Telkom University.
6. Once passed the nomination, applicants will be assisted to apply to the official online application of HIWS Program 2023.
