Vaccination (Covid-19) Program for Telkom University Students. As an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19, apart from creating various innovations to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, Telkom University supports the government in implementing a vaccination program for all Telkom University academics, including lecturers, staff and students. After previously the Covid-19 vaccine program was successfully held for lecturers and staff, this time Telkom University in collaboration with POLDA JABAR and Alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University ’84 held COVID-19 Vaccination for students in stages starting from students living in Bandung Raya and then for students living in West Java. The 1st dose of Covid-19 vaccination was held on 21 June 2021 at the Telkom University Manterawu Building.

This vaccination program provides 3500 quotas Telkom University students and this is the first mass vaccination program given to students. Today is the day of giving the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. A number of students have been vaccinated against COVID-19 since this morning, starting from checking temperatures and returning forms, registration, health screening to injecting vaccines. In a live broadcast at Telkom University instagram @telkomuniversity, students who had received the first vaccine said they wanted to take part in this vaccination program because it is a campus program and strict health protocols and activities run smoothly. They also testify that so far there have been no side effects after vaccination.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

Before joining the Covid-19 Vaccination Program, Telkom University students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Active student of Telkom University
  2. Minimum age 18 years on 1 June 2021
  3. Obtain parental/guardian permission
  4. Willing to get the first and second vaccines (MANDATORY)
    The second vaccine injection will be carried out with an estimated time of 28 days after the first vaccine injection.
  5. Domiciled in Bandung and/or West Java
  6. Never been infected by Covid-19 (If you have been infected by Covid-19, it must be confirmed recovered for more than 3 months)
  7. Have no congenital disease (Comorbid)

Registration for vaccination was made online beforehand to organize and avoid the crowds, open from 15-19 June 2021. After the online registration is complete, participants will receive a notification regarding the vaccination implementation schedule.

Chairman of Tel-U Siaga Covid-19 (Telsico) Dr. Anisah Firli said that all Telkom University students can take part in this vaccination program, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. “We hope that through this program, Telkom University can help the government’s efforts in suppressing the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia”, she said.

Director of Student Affairs at Telkom University, Desy Dwi Nurhandayani, S.T., MM., appealed to all Telkom University students who will take part in vaccination program, must maintain health protocols when traveling to campus using private vehicles. “We recommend all Telkom University students who will take part in the vaccination program, please attend this vaccination program by using private vehicles, but if it is necessary to use public transportation, please always comply with the Health Protocol by continuing to wear masks, keep your distance and stay away from crowds,” she suggested.(IO)***
