UKM International Summer Program 2025. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) warmly welcomes all Telkom University students and is pleased to invite them to participate in the UKM International Summer Program 2025: “Tropic Nature and Heritage.” This exciting two-week program offers a unique combination of academic enrichment and cultural immersion. Participants will have the opportunity to explore Malaysia’s diverse natural heritage while gaining valuable insights into sustainable conservation efforts and eco-tourism initiatives.

UKM International Summer Program 2025 opens the program from August 4 – August 15, 2025 (2 weeks).

APPLICATION DEADLINE OF UKM INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2025
Telkom University students who’d like to participate in the UKM International Summer Program 2025 must register beforehand via Telkom University internal application link before April 15, 2025.
PROGRAM MODE FOR UKM INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2025
Telkom University students who have been internally nominated for UKM International Summer Program 2025 will have the opportunity to participate in a physical outbound mobility program by attending and taking part in UKM International Summer Program 2025.
OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM FOR UKM INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2025
The course will introduce and provide participants on the knowledge of Malaysian tropical ecosystem. Participant will learn about the concept of nature heritage, sustainable development of nature conservation and the physical landscape and bio-diversity of Malaysia’s tropical ecosystem.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM FOR UKM INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2025
- Enable participants to understand better the natural heritage concept and observe the integrated conservation efforts for sustainability and eco-tourism.
- Allow participants to experience at first hand and document visually various geological and biological heritage of Malaysia’s environmental landscape.
- Enable participants to explore the various conservation initiatives in Malaysia.
Through this UKM International Summer Program 2025, participants will also discover the rich tapestry of Malaysian culture through unique and immersive cultural excursions.
PROGRAM FEE OF UKM INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2025
Program fee of UKM International Summer Program 2025 covers the following:
- Shared on-campus accommodation for two
- Land arrangements
- Selected meals
- Entrance fee to cultural and conservation site
- Program kit and courses material
Price: USD 1,800 per person
Note: All participants will be awarded the certificate of completion if they attend all the sessions of the program for UKM International Summer Program 2025 without any absence, except for a valid reason.

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR UKM INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2025
- Telkom University students who’d like to understand better the natural heritage concept and observe the integrated conservation efforts for sustainability and eco-tourism.
- Having excellent academic records and good honours with GPA 3.00 (out of 4.00) or above.
- All participants are required to prove an English proficiency of TelU EPrT 500.
- Being passed the nomination step by Telkom University.

As the first step, Telkom University students must prepare all the required documents for joining UKM International Summer Program 2025, such as:
- Scan of Student ID Card
- Recent Academic Transcript in English
- Scan of English Proficiency Certificate.
- Formal Photo

- Applicant reads detailed information of UKM International Summer Program 2025 HERE.
- Applicant consults with academic supervisor related to participation in the program, including the courses’ selection.
- Applicant prepares required documents for the internal nomination step at Telkom University.
- Applicants make an online registration for the nomination step at: https://bit.ly/SummeratUKM25 before April 15, 2025.
- Wait for the next announcement regarding the CHOSEN nomination of UKM International Summer Program 2025 from Telkom University International Office.
- Once the nomination, the applicant will be guided to apply to the official online application for the UKM International Summer Program 2025.
