Sharing Session US Embassy : Study in US
Thursday, October 6th 2016 International Office in cooperation with Education USA held Info Session “Study In USA”. Muhammad Iqbal, the representative of US Embassy (Education Adviser) gave many information about how to study in USA related with financial plan, choosing university/college, and others. He also explained the steps to apply university/college in USA.
Well if you want to continue your study in USA, you can start by doing research on which university you will apply, also related with the financial plan. After getting some information, complete your documents to apply like TOEFL IBT (at least 80), CV, Resume, etc. When you’re accepted it means you’re ready going to USA after getting your VISA. You may also contact the US Embassy to have a consultation and suggestion regarding your plan to study in US.
Indonesia, throughout LPDP has a scholarship program in cooperation with USA. They have 55 universities in USA those opened for the scholarship. Each year, LPDP has 4 times open registrations.
At his last presentation, Muhammad Iqbal motivated the participants to have a big dream to be achieved because everyone deserves to get it. “Everybody deserves to get their own dream, just work on it!” (HAN)
