School of Industrial Engineering is one of the oldest faculties at Telkom University that was established in 1990 which was founded by Ir. Cacuk Sudarijanto, President Director at PT Telkom. In 2009 Industrial Engineering has received “A” Accreditation by BAN-PT

Industrial Engineering is a field of engineering science that concentrates on the analysis, design, implementation and improvement of an integral system that consists of people, equipment, funds, materials, and methods. In the context of the Industrial Engineering ontology Telecommunications Industry is an integral system that desperately need the presence and contribution of industrial engineering expertise.

Departing from such thinking, IT Telkom in its mission of being a provider of human resources in the Indonesian telecommunications industry considers it important to establish the School of Industrial Engineering as part of a clump of field engineering in IT Telkom which focuses on the field of ICT in conjunction with the School of Electrical and Communication and the School of Informatics. The School also has over 30 Laboratory to support learning activities to excel, develop and adapt in the midst of fierce industrial competition.

Currently, the School of Industrial Engineering has 5 study programmes that have been nationally accredited, some of which have been accredited as Excellent and A. In addition, there are study programmes that have been internationally accredited by IABEE :

  1. Master of Industrial Engineering
  2. Master of Information Systems
  3. Bachelor of Industrial Engineering
  4. Bachelor of Information Systems
  5. Logistics Engineering.

Vision :

Become a school of research and entrepreneurship that plays an active role in the development of knowledge in the field of information technology-based industrial systems that contribute to the national economy.

Mission :

  1. Develop and disseminate science and technology, in the field of information technology-based industrial systems that are internationally recognised.
  2. Organising an international standard education system in the field of information technology-based industrial systems that encourages active, creative and independent learning.
  3. Utilising science, technology and management in collaboration with government, society and industry to improve the welfare and progress of the nation’s civilisation.
