Master of Management FEB Tel-U Received International Accreditation ABEST 21
TOKYO, TEL-U – Master of Management Faculty of Economics and Business Telkom University (MM Tel-U) received international accreditation from The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow, a 21st century organization (ABEST21). Tel-U achieved this accreditation along with nine of graduate programs in business management and economics from five countries.
From Indonesia, other than Tel-U, there are five other institutions to achieve this accreditation such as University of Lampung (Unila), Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), Brawijaya University (UB) Malang, Airlangga University Surabaya, and PPM Business School. While other institutions abroad which achieve this accreditation such as Nanzan University and Kyoto University from Japan, Management & Science University (MSU) from Malaysia, Chiang Mai University from Thailand, and Lomonosov Moscow State University from Russia.
Located at Sony University, Shinagawa, Tokyo at 1-2 March 2016, Tel-U group consisting of Tel-U Rector Prof Mochamad Ashari M Eng PhD, Dean of FEB Tel-U Dodie Tricahyono, Ph.D, and Head of MM Program Tel -U Dr. Dadan Rahadian attended to receive this accreditation.
ABEST21 is an organization founded 10 years ago and MM FEB Tel-U has initiated an application for accreditation in 2013. Over the past two years, MM FEB has gone through a series of stages that later declared eligible for accreditation with the quality standards of international quality management education of ABEST21.
As ABEST 21 accreditation receiver, then MM Tel-U is required to do kaizen (continuous improvement) in all matters and will be reported in one year later.
Since the number of accreditation receiver from Indonesia, President ABEST21 Prof. Fumio Itoh also invited the Ambassador of Indonesia to Japan, Dr Yusron Ihza Mahendra to submit the ABEST21 accreditation certificate to the receiver of Indonesia.
In addition to the international accreditation ABEST21, MM Tel-U was also awarded as Best Practice in Blended Learning as hallmarks of MM Tel-U. (Purel / raf / FEB)
