Kumamoto Post-Graduate Spring STEP 2025 awaits you. Kumamoto University is one of the oldest universities in Japan with seven faculties, nine graduate schools, and 25 research centers/institutes (as of April 2021) that support a wide spectrum of educational and research activities. For over 100 years our university has been at the forefront of culture, advancing science and technology, and contributing to the development of the Japanese educational system.

Kumamoto University Short-Term Exchange Program (STEP) is designed for full-time foreign postgraduate students from universities that have a student exchange agreement with Kumamoto University. The Kumamoto Post-Graduate Spring STEP 2025 program offers courses on the Japanese language, Japanese and Asian society, and culture, and advanced science and technology. At Kumamoto University, there are both half- and full-year programs, and students retain full-time student status at their home universities. This program encourages the promotion of cultural and academic interactions between Kumamoto University and partner university students
