KNB Scholarship 2025 at Telkom University. The Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship is a prestigious program, a fully funded program by Indonesian Government, offering opportunities for students from developing countries to pursue higher education in Indonesia. STUDY PROGRAMS FOR KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025 AT TELKOM UNIVERSITY
For the KNB Scholarship 2025, Telkom University offers a range of programs, including Bachelor’s Degree Programs, Bachelor of Applied Science Programs, and Master’s Degree Programs. Below are the study programs available for KNB Scholarship awardees at Telkom University in 2025:
REQUIREMENTS OF KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025
- The maximum age to apply for the KNB scholarship 2025 is 35 years old for Master Program applicants and 21 years old for Bachelor Program applicants, no more than December 31st, 2025.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor degree for Master Program applicants, and High School degree for Bachelor Program applicants. Please provide the scanned degree certificate and academic transcripts in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Please be advised that master degree holder is not eligible to apply for the Master Degree scholarship.
- Applicants must have the English Proficiency Test of TOEFL ITP, TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or TOEIC (the certificate must be obtained within the last 2 Years).
- Master Degree applicants: TOEFL ITP 500, TOEFL iBT 61, IELTS 6.0, or TOEIC 575 or equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree applicants: TOEFL ITP 477, TOEFL iBT 53, IELTS 5.5, or TOEIC 510 or equivalent.
- Applicants must provide the recommendation letter to apply for the KNB scholarship 2025 from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General.
- Applicants must provide recommendation letter to apply for the KNB scholarship 2025 from the employer/immediate supervisor.
- Applicants must provide Academic Recommendation Letter from previous schools in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Applicants (if working) must provide the recommendation letter to apply for the KNB scholarship 2025 at Telkom University from the employer/immediate supervisor in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Applicants must provide academic certificate and academic transcript in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Applicants must have a prove of citizenship (Official Passport or Personal ID), which is still valid for at least 2 upcoming years).

HOW TO APPLY FOR KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025
All application processes are conducted online through the KNB Scholarship 2025 website: http://knb.kemdiktisaintek.go.id. Please be advised that soliciting is prohibited.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS OF KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025
- Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy in the respective country.
- Recommendation letter from the employer/ immediate supervisor (if working) in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Academic Recommendation Letter from previous schools and/or universities (in English or Bahasa Indonesia).
- Scanned official passport, which is still valid for at least December 31st, 2026.
- Scanned bachelor certificate and academic transcripts (in English) for Master Program applicants, and scanned High School degree certificate and academic transcript (in English) for Bachelor Program applicants.
- Scanned TOEFL or IELTS score certificate (or other English Proficiency Tests) obtained within the last 2 years.
- Scanned Official Medical Statement (Official Diagnose) prepared by a certified physician.
- All required documents must be scanned into electronic documents in .jpeg or .jpg format with a maximum size per file of 300kb to avoid technical problems when uploading files due to poor internet connection or interference with the server.
- Please note that, one applicant only has one account to register in KNB Scholarship website, so make sure that all your document requirements are complete and correct before you finish the registration.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES OF KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025 AT TELKOM UNIVERSITY
- Applicants download the KNB Scholarship Offering Letter from KNB Scholarship website: http://knb.kemdiktisaintek.go.id.
- Applicants submit the Offering Letter, Official Passport, Academic Certificates and Academic Transcripts of previous degree, English Proficiency Test Certificate (Applicants from non-English-speaking countries), Recommendation Letter from Indonesian Embassy, Recommendation Letter from the employer/ supervisor, Academic Recommendation Letter from previous Schools, Recommendation Letter from the potential research supervisor in one of the universities providing partner of the KNB Scholarship (for doctoral applicant only), and statement of purpose of their studies in Indonesia (for doctoral applicant only) in official website of KNB Scholarship.
- Applicants complete the online application process.
- Applicants who pass the administration selection, applicants will be invited to join the academic test (online test), psychological test, and interview session.
- The Selection results will be announced online via the KNB Scholarship website and officially announced through the Indonesian Embassy publication network.
During the application process of KNB Scholarship 2025, please carefully consider the following important information during the application process. It is strongly recommended that applicants gather comprehensive information about Telkom University and your preferred study program. Please note that once admitted, any attempts to change universities or study programs are strictly prohibited.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025
KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025 PROGRAM
- Students of KNB Scholarship 2025 must study Indonesian language for foreigners or Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) for 2 semesters/1 academic year before they start their academic study in their major.
- Students of KNB Scholarship 2025 must participate in a preparatory program. The program is scheduled ahead of the academic program and will follow program planning guidelines and university regulation.
- Academic Program. A Bachelor Program may take up to eight semesters, while a Master Program may take up to four semesters, and Doctoral Program may take up to eight semesters. In order to graduate from the program with honours, all KNB 2025 students must regularly demonstrate strong academic performance through the development of a positive attitude, discipline, and attention.
SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE AND DURATION OF THE KNB SCHOLARSHIP 2025
- A Settlement Allowance will be given to new students upon their arrival in Indonesia;
- Tuition Fee in BIPA Program and Academic Program as long as duration of scholarship;
- During BIPA and Academic Program, the KNB Scholarship 2025 students will receive living allowance monthly upon their arrival in Indonesia as long as KNB students living in Indonesia during their duration scholarship;
- During BIPA and Academic Program, the KNB Scholarship 2024 students will receive research and book allowance monthly upon their arrival in Indonesia during their duration scholarship;
- A health insurance;
- Funding for Publishing Scientific Article;
- Provide economy class airline ticket for arrival from the international airport of the student’s home country to Indonesia, including local transport to the host university and provide economy class airline ticket for returning to student’s home country including local transport from host university to international airport in Indonesia after the student is declared to have graduated.
- Please be advised that KNB student must return to home country no later than 60 days after the program ends or after the student is declared to have graduated, as long as their residence permit has not expired;
- Please be advised that a program completion is not necessarily graduation or a commencement ceremony. Return ticket will be booked by host university, the students must apply for Exit Permit Only (EPO), as well as book the ticket.
