The Kanazawa University Exchange Program (KUEP) provides opportunities for students from partner Universities to earn credits and/or receive research guidance at Kanazawa University. Exchange students are offered Japanese language program and courses on education and lectures in English or Japanese on Japanese culture and society and various fields of specialization in English or Japanese.

ACCOMMODATION FOR KUEP 2026

Dormitories for new international students coming to Japan will be arranged by Kanazawa University. However, if the number of applicants exceeds the number of available rooms in university dormitories, or if you wish to live in a private apartment instead of the dormitory arranged by Kanazawa University, you will have to find an apartment yourself through a real estate agency. In this case, the monthly rent for a one-room apartment will be 40,000-60,000 yen, and the deposit and key money will be 150,000-300,000 yen, as well as insurance and other fees.
