Impact Rankings 2022: TelU is the Best Private University. THE Impact Rankings or The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, according to the official page of THE Impact Rankings, are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Along with the overall THE Impact Rankings, there are 17 tables that demonstrate how universities are doing in terms of achieving the SDGs. THE Impact Rankings use carefully calibrated indicators to provide a comprehensive and balanced comparison across four broad areas: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.

Telkom University has succeeded in being ranked 1 at the private university level, ranked 12 out of all Indonesian universities (state & private universities), and ranked 401-600 in the world in THE Impact Rankings 2022 with the overall score 65.0-71.9. From 17 goals in SDGs, Telkom University got good score in the following goals in THE Impact Rankings:

1. Affordable & Clean Energy-SDGs no 7: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all with the score 70.3
2. Clean Water & Sanitation-SDGs no 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all with the score 70.3
3. Industry, Innovation, & Infrastructure-SDGs no 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation with the score 47.5-57.1
4. Partnership for the Goal-SDGs no 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development with the score 70.3-76.6

Impact Rankings of THE is Dynamic

THE Impact Rankings are inherently dynamic: THE Impact Rankings are rapidly growing each year as more universities join THE Impact Rankings’ database to demonstrate their commitment to achieving the SDGs; and THE Impact Rankings commission allow institutions to demonstrate rapid improvement their THE Impact year after year, for example, by introducing clear new policies or providing clearer and more open evidence of their progress. As universities continue to pursue this vital issue, THE Impact Rankings expect and welcome periodical change in the ranking order of institutions (and discourage year-to-year comparisons).

Since its establishment, Telkom University has continued to strive to provide the best education for students, one of which is by providing environment and infrastructure that supports the SDGs.
