IABEE: Four TelU Engineering Programs Earn International Accreditation. BANDUNG – Telkom University has once again made an achievement in the international area through the achievement of accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE) for four engineering study programs. IABEE is an international accreditation institution under the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) which has been recognized as a full signatory of the Washington Accord. This recognition places IABEE on par with engineering accreditation institutions from various developed countries, and sets global standards in engineering education.

The four study programs that successfully achieved IABEE international accreditation are Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Physics, and Bachelor of Computer Engineering under the School of Electrical Engineering, as well as Bachelor of Industrial Engineering under the School of Industrial Engineering. This success reflects the quality of education at Telkom University which has met international standards, especially in the fields of engineering.

This accreditation assesses several important aspects in engineering education, such as professional profile orientation, graduate competency outcomes, learning and teaching implementation, assessment of learning outcomes, and continuous quality improvement. The assessment shows that the four study programs have successfully implemented the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which emphasizes the achievement of graduate competencies and student-centered learning.

With this achievement, graduates from the four study programs automatically gain international recognition for their academic qualifications. This opens up wider opportunities for alumni to pursue careers and continue their studies in various institutions and engineering industries at the global level, especially in countries that are members of the Washington Accord.
