HESS 2025: Hanyang ERICA Summer School 2025. Hanyang University ERICA Institute of International Education, with an educational philosophy of “Living Language and Level-up Education,” currently operates a variety of language and cultural experience programs to educate the next generation of global talent and prepare them for the globalized world of today. In response to the steadily growing number of foreign exchange students and other international students, we are operating the New 2L Korean Language program, as well as various short-term programs such as cultural awareness classes.

PROGRAM PERIOD OF HESS 2025
The program is scheduled for around four weeks, commencing in July and ending in August 2025.
PROGRAM SESSION OF HESS 2025
HESS 2025 offers 3 sessions of programs:
- Session 1: 18 July – 02 August 2025 (2 weeks)
- Session 2: 02 August – 17 August 2025 (2 weeks)
- Session 1+2: 18 July – 17 August 2025 (4 weeks)

INTERNAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE OF HESS 2025
Telkom University students who want to participate in the HESS 2025 at Hanyang University ERICA must register via the internal application link before 31 March 2025.

ACCOMMODATION IN HESS 2025
HESS PROGRAM offers on-campus dormitory accommodations for participants, and the fee is already INCLUDED in the PROGRAM FEE.

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR HESS 2025
- Active Telkom University undergraduate students who have passed 1 year of study.
- Having excellent academic records, min GPA of 3.0 and/or above.
- Having good English communication skills, proved by English at level CEFR B2 (IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 785, IBT 72, ITP 543, Duolingo 90, or EPrT 500* (for internal registration only).
- Being nominated by the International Office of Telkom University.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR HESS 2025
As the first step, Telkom University students must prepare all the required documents for joining HESS 2025, such as:
- Scan of Student ID Card
- Recent Academic Transcript in English
- Scan of English Proficiency Certificate.
- Formal Photo

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR OFFICIAL REGISTRATION
Follow these additional requirements for official registration to participate in HESS 2025 (for Visa Application):
- Formal photo in jpg format which is under 500KB in size
- A copy of passport
- Bank certificate
- Application form
- International Health Insurance
- Family Relation Certificate (only for applicants with bank certificate under their father or mother’s name)
- Letter of Recommendation by International Office of Telkom University (only for applicants who don’t meet the GPA or language requirement)
APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR HESS 2025
- Applicant reads detailed information on HESS 2025 HERE.
- Applicant consults with academic supervisor related to participation in the program, including the courses’ selection.
- Applicant prepares required documents for the internal nomination step at Telkom University.
- Applicants make an online registration for the nomination step at: https://bit.ly/RegHESS2025 before 31 March 2025.
- Wait for the next announcement regarding the CHOSEN nomination of HESS 2025 from the International Office of Telkom University.
- Once the nomination, the applicant will be guided to apply to the official online application for HESS 2025.
