Google Career Certificate Scholarship, a collaborative program between Google and Telkom University. Google gave the Google Career Certificate Scholarship to Telkom University as the first university in Indonesia at the online launch of the Google Career Certificates and Scholarship Program was broadcast on Telkom University’s Youtube page on Tuesday (22/03/2022).
As a Country Director of Google Indonesia, Randy Yusuf said that Google has a fantastic initiative called Grow with Google, focusing on five pillars in Indonesia, including business owners, students and job seekers, developers, startups, instructors, and students, as well as creators and journalists.
“Through this program, we (Google) offer career certifications that focus on practical learning, which can be completed at the participant’s option and accessible on the Coursera platform,” he said.
Google Scholarships
As a Country Director of Google Indonesia, Randy Yusuf also said that Google and Telkom University, both of Indonesia’s finest private universities, will be the first to get scholarships from Google for as many as 2000 IT Support Certificates students, employees, and instructors.
“We focus on job seekers and students who want to upgrade their abilities in the second pillar, and Grow with Google is currently creating a recruitment consortium with 40 company partners and is capable of receiving job applications from Google Career certificate holders.” Obviously.

Prof. Adiwijaya, Rector of Telkom University, welcomed the collaboration, which he said was prompted by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, who stated that Indonesia will require more than 15 million digital talents in the future. Through collaboration, Telkom University is becoming more prepared to assist the nation in producing digital talents for the Indonesian nation.
“We hope that the academic community can put the relationship between Telkom University and Google to good use by continuing to enhance their talents so that together we can produce and become a superior generation for the Indonesian nation,” he said.
