GENZ PREPARATION FOR THE FUTURE, A UniKL X Tel-U ONLINE JOINT CLASS 2022 VOL.1 BEGIN. GenZ is the current youngest generation who is currently studying at the college level or is currently looking for or creating jobs. The emergence of start-ups as new job opportunities is one form of change that is being felt by GenZ today. As GenZ likes contemporary things, Start-up is one of the career choices for GenZ because Startups are considered to offer a great opportunity for GenZ to explore themselves. Not only in these two sectors but currently GenZ is also faced with the industrial revolution 4.0.
The technological sophistication faced by GenZ today not only encourages GenZ to be dynamic, creative, technology literate, and also pragmatic, but also makes GenZ tend to be more wasteful, find it difficult to save, and don’t care about future investments because they are considered not needed. Without realizing it, managing finances is important and needed for GenZ at this time and in the future, therefore at this time, GenZ must start knowing how to manage finances, one of which is through investment for the younger generation like GenZ. Seeing this, Telkom University, Indonesia together with Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia want to help GenZ to prepare for this situation through Online Joint Class 2022 Vol.1. The Online Joint Class 2022 Vol.1 is a collaborative program between Telkom University, Indonesia, and Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which discuss topics related to the issues faced by GenZ today along with extraordinary speakers held on March 22nd-24th, 2022.
GenZ in Digital Era
This morning (22/03/2022) was held the first and second sessions of the Online Joint Class 2022 Vol.1 at 09.00 a.m. WIB/10.00 a.m. MT. Both of the sessions of the Online Joint Class 2022 Vol.1 was attended by a lot of participants who mostly a GenZ. The First session of the Online Joint Class 2022 Vol.1 talked about Integrated Marketing Communication for Multinational Companies with Mrs. Aruna Azariah Rajendram from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and Dr. Doni Juni Priansa from Telkom University (Tel-U) as the speakers of the first session. As the first speaker, Dr. Doni Juni Priansa shared his knowledge about Integrated Marketing Communication in general, and then as the second speaker of the session, Mrs. Aruna Azariah Rajendram continued the topic about the integrated marketing communication in the digital era.
The second session of the Online Joint Class 2022 Vol.1 talked about Supply Chain Management with Dr. Mohd Yazid Md Taib from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and Dr. Ratih Hendayani S.T., M.M., Ph.D. from Telkom University (Tel-U) as the speakers of the second session. As the speaker of the session, Dr. Ratih shared material on supply chain management in general, and then Dr. Mohd Yazid Md Taib talked more detailed knowledge about logistic management and the implementation in a real-life situation.
There will be the third and fourth sessions of the Online Joint Class 2022 Vol.1 at 23rd and 24th of March, 2022.
