In addition, films such as Dendam Rindu harus Di Bayar Tuntas, You and I, and Sang Suporter (animated film) were positively appreciated abroad. Moreover, the short film Basri & Salma in a Never-Ending Comedy from Makassar-based sines was successfully screened at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

The development of the film industry today, not only revolves around films in live-action format but also the animated film industry. This is marked by the increasingly varied forms and genres of animated films. One of the cities that contributes a lot to the growth of the film industry in Indonesia is Bandung.

Bandung is known as a city with room for creative talents in art, design, and film to grow and has many film festivals, art galleries, animation studios and active creative communities. Therefore, Bandung is an excellent space for the film industry to grow.
