Faculty Quality of Telkom University by QS WUR Regional ASIA 2022. Faculty quality in the educational institution is one of the considerations of students in choosing their faculty or study program. Yes, faculty quality is essential as it can reflect the quality of the graduates produced later. Telkom University, through its achievements that are recognized both nationally and internationally proves that Telkom University always give best quality education for the students.
Recently, QS World University Rankings has published a regional ranking of universities. Based on the QS World University Rankings Regional ASIA 2022, Telkom University managed to rank 401-450. QS World University Rankings Regional ASIA follows the global ranking assessment standards, observing several indicators, namely: academic reputation, reputation of lecturers and employees, students, doctoral education lecturers, paper citations, International Research Network, International Faculty, International Students, and Student Exchange.
Based on the assessment issued through the official QS World University Ranking website (www.iu.qs.com), out of the 11 assessment indicators, Telkom University achieved the highest score on the International Faculty indicator, this is the evidence of the quality of education at Telkom University with international standards. In addition, several assessment indicators of Telkom University have also increased, including Academic Reputation, Faculty/Student ratio, Paper/Faculty, International Faculty, International Student, Inbound Exchange, and Outbound Exchange.

Telkom University itself has opened 7 faculties which are categorized as engineering faculty and non-engineering faculty. They are:
- Faculty of Electrical Engineering
- Faculty of Computing
- Faculty of Industrial Engineering
- Faculty of Economics & Business
- Faculty of Communications & Business
- Faculty of Creative Industries
- Faculty of Applied Science
All those faculties have received excellent accreditation both national accreditation and international accreditation so the quality of all faculties is also well recognized by the world university ranking, such as QS World University Ranking.
Responding to the achievement, the Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya expressed his gratitude for all the teams that have contributed so far, where this achievement is Telkom University’s commitment to continue to do the best quality and give the best quality to the community. “This is a collective result, from all stakeholders involved, employees, researchers, lecturers and students; this is an assessment for all, and we are grateful for continuing to grow and not stop innovating, for quality education that advances Indonesia”, he said.
Prof. Adiwijaya also added that in an effort to improve quality in the field of Internationalization and Innovation, Telkom University will strive to further improve the quality of international standard learning and quality research. “This is in line with our vision to become a research-based world university and entrepreneurial university, and able to produce innovations that can benefit society”, he added.(IO)***
