EDUTRIP 2022: Let’s Go to Malaysia-Singapore!
Edutrip 2022 is finally implemented! Yes, Edutrip program was discontinued for two years when the Covid-19 epidemic struck Indonesia in early 2020 because, in addition to the health issues that were the main concern, many boarders had restricted access to mobility including Edutrip. However, the Edutrip 2022 program can now be implemented in 2022 thanks to the policy’s relaxation.
Edutrip or known as Educative Trip is one of outbound mobility program, organized by International Office of Telkom University. Edutrip 2022 is intended for international class students of Telkom University. Edutrip 2022 offers some educational advantages, particularly in terms of promoting competitiveness on a worldwide scale, international environments, and best practices. This Edutrip 2022 includes visits to several partner universities, industry and cultural heritage. Lasting for 4-7 days, the implementation of Edutrip 2022 is categorized as a Short Course program.
Participants of Edutrip 2022 is prioritized for students’ class of 2019 and 2020 with total of 179 students. In term of destination, Edutrip 2022 is divided into two country destinations: Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore and Edutrip 2022 to Japan. There are three batches of departure for Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore and 1 batch Edutrip 2022 to Japan.
Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia & Singapore
The following is the number of EDUTRIP 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore participants:
- Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore Batch 1: forty four (44) students, implemented on 10-13 October 2022 Edutrip 2022
- Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore Batch 2: fifty one (51) students, implemented on 17-20 October 2022 Edutrip 2022
- Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore Batch 3: forty nine (49) students, implemented on 24-27 October 2022 Edutrip 2022
For university partners’ visit in Edutrip 2022, participants of Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore visited Multimedia University, Malaysia, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, and Malaya University Malaysia. Besides university visit, participants of Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore had industrial visit to Xinnetworks Pte. Ltd in Singapore. In Edutrip 2022 Mr. Isaac, a Project Management Professional at Xin Network shared the history of Xinnetwork and some insight on Business Fundamental for Edutrip 2022 participants.
To complete the Edutrip 2022, as a reward, participants of Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore had great time to visit some cultural heritage and countries’ landmark, such as Petronas Twin Tower Malaysia, Avenue Skyway-Genting Malaysia, Batu Cave Malaysia, and Istana Raja-Johor Malaysia. In Singapore, participants of Edutrip 2022 to Malaysia-Singapore had time to stop by Merlion Park, Orchard Street, Garden by the Bay, and local markets.
