Craft is one of the subsectors that characterizes the Indonesian nation. In terms of materials, craft includes all crafts made from wood, metal, leather, glass, ceramics and textiles. The abundant availability of raw materials and the creativity of industry players are the main factors for the development of this subsector.
The Craft and Fashion subsector has the potential to grow and continue to develop. This has become an urgency for Telkom University to produce graduates who can utilize ICT developments in the implementation of knowledge in the field of Textile Craft and Fashion, so as to create new employment opportunities in the creative industry.
