Telkom University’s undergradute Information Systems study program is one of the study program accredited as Excellent, as well as the first computing study program in Indonesia to receive IABEE General Accreditation. The Information Systems scientific field bridges the gap between technical components (information and communication technology) and non-technical components (business and management). In its curriculum, the undergraduate Information Systems study program emphasizes the use of information and communication technology to solve problems faced by organizations, as well as optimizing the strategic role of information technology in achieving organizational goals. Thus, graduates of the S1 Information Systems study program are expected to have adequate competencies in supporting the digital transformation of organizations.
Based on data presented by the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia (KOMINFO), Indonesia needs around 9 million digital talents until 2030. The use of information systems is very important in facing fierce business competition considering that information systems really help an organization in making the right decisions based on relevant data and information.
