Collaboration with Malaysia. Telkom University was hosting a general lecture from Malaka, Malaysia on Monday (15/4/19). This event was attended by 48 participants from JawatanKuasa Post Expo Pendidikan Modal Insan, Sains dan Inovasi Negeri Malaka Malaysia and Telkom University. This event was held from 14.00 until 18.00 in general lecturing building, Tokong Nanas/GKU under responsibility of International Office Telkom University.

This event was attended by Telkom University’s rector Prof. Adiwijaya and vice rectors, faculties dean and lecturers, and also attended by Telkom University’s student affairs department. Greetings and welcoming speech was delivered by Prof. Dr, Adi Wijaya as Telkom University’s rector. Followed by introducing Telkom University by Dr. Dida Diah Damajanti, S.T.,MEngSc as vice rectors III.

After a brief welcoming speech and a glaze introduction of Telkom University. Tuan Noor Effandi Bin Ahmad delivered a presentation on how the education system in Negeri Malaka Malaysia. Participants from Negeri Malaka Malaysia was also representative of different college and universities in Negeri Malaka and representative from the government administrations.

Before the general lecture by Tuan Effandi Bin Ahmad was held. There were an open discussion on education system of Telkom Univeristy, how to achieve the mission and vision of the university. Prof. Dr, Adi Wijaya along with faculties dean explained what are Telkom University’s contributions to society and how technology is a part of education and learning media in Telkom. Tuan Effandi Bin Ahmad on his general lecturing on glorious educational system delivered a strong message on how to be a flexible person and how to keep the objective goals in the future. This lecturing was well received by the participants.

As the closing event, International Office Telkom University along with Open Library team introduced participants of Negeri Malaka to one of the finest achievement of Telkom University the Open Library in Manterawu building. During their visit in the library, they were introduced with the facilities and they were given a tour around the library. (LM)***
