Celebrating Global Friendship and Learning at Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025
Bandung, Indonesia – Telkom University proudly hosted the Short Course Program with Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, from September 17 to 20, 2025. The program welcomed 12 UNITEN students and one supervisor to Bandung, offering them a four-day academic and cultural journey through the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025.
The Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025 was designed to provide participants with meaningful opportunities that combined academic learning, cultural immersion, and community service. During their stay, the delegation engaged in activities that promoted both social responsibility and intercultural understanding.
One highlight of the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025 was a social service activity at Masjid Syamsul Ulum, Telkom University. Together with the mosque management, UNITEN students distributed nutritious meals to local residents in need around the campus area. This part of the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025 reflected the shared value of compassion and student involvement in social initiatives.
The cultural component of the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025 included a visit to Saung Angklung Udjo, a famous cultural center in Bandung. Here, participants experienced Sundanese traditions, enjoyed musical performances, and learned to play the angklung—Indonesia’s UNESCO-recognized bamboo instrument. For many, this was the most memorable part of the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025, offering a firsthand encounter with Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
The program concluded with a discussion session between UNITEN participants and Telkom University’s Student Affairs division. This dialogue, as part of the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025, focused on dormitory management practices at both universities. Sharing experiences and best practices made the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025 not only culturally enriching but also academically insightful.
By the end of the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025, participants had strengthened friendships, gained cultural appreciation, and deepened academic knowledge. The success of the Short Course Tel-U x UNITEN 2025 reaffirmed the strong partnership between Telkom University and Universiti Tenaga Nasional, underscoring their shared commitment to global collaboration in higher education.
