Telkom University once again collaborating with Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (UniKL) to provide a learning platform for students through the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program. The Joint Short Program with Antenna & Propagation discusses topics about antennas and propagation which when used in every field of life are needed. The need for the use of antennas at this time is not only limited to the use of large antennas, but the emergence of increasingly sophisticated technology makes the need for more antennas to help people connect to each other in the network. Therefore, the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022 is expected to help students so that later they can help their country to increase innovation in digital technology.

The opening ceremony and the first meeting of the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022 were held on Thursday (12/5/22). The Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022 was attended by students from Telkom University, Indonesia, and Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ( UniKL). The Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022 began with remarks from Mrs. Lia Yuldinawati as Director of Strategic Partnership and International Office of Telkom University and also Assoc. Professor Dr. Zalhan Mohd. Zin as Director of UniKL International Office Universiti Kuala Lumpur. Then, the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022 was continued by Mr. Harfan Hian Ryanu a Lecturer from Telkom University as one of the speakers at the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022.

At the first meeting of the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022, Mr. Harfan Hian Ryanu a lecturer from Telkom University brought the topic of Introduction to Antenna Application. At the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022, Mr. Harfan Hian Ryanu explained that antennas are used for various things in people’s lives today. Then at the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022, Mr. Harfan Hian Ryanu also explained the types of antennas that are in the community, ranging from antennas commonly used for television broadcasting needs to antennas that can connect every community online through today’s digital technology. In addition, at the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022, Mr. Harfan Hian Ryanu also explained the application of antennas and their propagation through formula calculations.

The Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022 will be implemented within seven days with six virtual face-to-face meetings with speakers, namely Mr. Harfan Hian Ryanu from Telkom University and Mr. Muhammad Ghazali Tahir from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), then followed by a one-day quiz meeting. The next meeting of the Antenna & Propagation Joint Short Program 2022 will be held on 13 May 2022 with Mr. Muhammad Ghazali Tahir from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) on the topic of Antenna Basic Concept/Radiation Parameters.
