AI-SEAN P2A HYBRID 2025: CONCEPT NOTE. Hybrid Mobility by Discipline, originally conceptualized as an innovative solution to connect students and educators P2A member institutions despite the hardship of the pandemic, hasenjoyed success on multiple levels, far exceeding the initial goal to become an incubator for innovative ideas, a platform for peer networking across ASEAN countries, and a comprehensive training grounds for participants to hone their collaborative skills. Building on the success of the previous seasons, this year, the P2A Secretariat seeks to innovate on the formats of Hybrid Mobility by Discipline programs past to prepare our talents ready for a competitive and demanding future of work by introducing industry-standard idea frameworks and challenging participants to integrate the influential technology of Artificial Intelligence into their projects.

This year, the first season of 2025 P2A HMD rise the theme Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Intelligence. This event asks participants to tackle the task of preserving ASEAN traditional crafts by evaluating their current states, proposing a business plan to reinvent and rejuvenate traditional crafts villages, all the while attempting to use Artificial Intelligence and derive insights from this experience.

OBJECTIVES

The program aims to help students with:

  1. Encourage Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitate cross-disciplinary interactions to foster collaboration and idea exchange.
  2. Develop Essential Soft Skills: Enhance communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills crucial for future success.
  3. Global Connection: Overcome geographical barriers, allowing students to connect and collaborate globally.
  4. Intercultural Workforce Readiness: Assist international students in navigating and overcoming language and cultural challenges in a new country
  5. Inspire Creative Problem-solving Capacities: Presenting participants with challenging contemporary scenarios and the Business Canvas Model for brainstorming innovative solutions.

Telkom University students who want to participate in the AI-SEAN P2A HYBRID 2025: CONCEPT NOTE must register via the internal application link before 24 March 2025.

TOPIC OF AI-SEAN P2A HYBRID 2025: CONCEPT NOTE

The Topic for AI-SEAN P2A HYBRID 2025 is Leveraging innovative technologies to uplift ASEAN traditional craft villages. Create a business proposal that could lift ASEAN traditional craft villages out of their predicament and ensure their sustainability for the future. In order to do this, your proposal shall leverage new technologies in a sensible manner to boost different aspects of their existing business model, such as production, distribution and more.

OUTPUT:

  • A comprehensive and actionable proposal based on the Business Canvas Model
  • A video introducing said proposal (less than 3 minutes)
  • A reflection video (less than 2 minutes) for team leader only (not graded)

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR AI-SEAN P2A HYBRID 2025: CONCEPT NOTE

  1. Active Telkom University undergraduate students who have passed 1 year of study.
  2. Having excellent academic records.
  3. Having good English communication skills, proved by English at level CEFR B2 (IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 785, IBT 72, ITP 543, Duolingo 90, or EPrT 500* (for internal registration only).
  4. Being nominated by the International Office of Telkom University.

As the first step, Telkom University students must prepare all the required documents for joining AI-SEAN P2A HYBRID 2025: CONCEPT NOTE, such as:

  2. Scan of English Proficiency Certificate.
  3. Formal Photo
