San Francisco Discover 2026. Improve your English and experience the entrepreneurial and innovative City of San Francisco. San Francisco Discover is an English language and culture program that uses the City of San Francisco as the classroom. The program combines language study at the San Francisco State University campus, with excursions throughout the city’s colorful and exciting neighborhoods. As a student in the program, you will improve your English skills while you learn how San Francisco has become a global center of entrepreneurship and innovation. You will have the opportunity to explore the arts, business, culture and technology of the city as you practice your English skills with locals from a variety of backgrounds.

The program period of the program is divided into 2 programs:
Winter 2026
- 4 weeks session: January 12 – February 6, 2026
- 3 weeks session: January 12 – January 30, 2026
- 2 weeks session: January 12 – January 23, 2026
Spring 2026
- 4 weeks session: February 16 – March 13, 2026
- 3 weeks session: February 16 – March 6, 2026
- 2 weeks session: February 16 – 27, 2026

- Gain listening and speaking skills in an encouraging environment, and give short presentations
- Learn about San Francisco neighborhoods, people and cultural innovations
- A presentation and question and answer session with a manager from Facebook
- Touring local universities, such as the campus of UC Berkeley
- Touring a 3D printing facility
- Tasting delicious international cuisine
- Learning useful vocabulary to discuss arts, business, culture and technology
- Experiencing San Francisco as a local!
ESTIMATED BUDGET FOR SAN FRANCISCO DISCOVER 2026 WINTER/SPRING SESSION

APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY FOR SAN FRANCISCO DISCOVER 2026
- Active Telkom University undergraduate and postgraduate students who have passed 1 year of study
- Having excellent academic records and good honors with GPA 3.00 (out of 4.00) or above.
- All participants are required to prove an English proficiency. It can be TelU EPrT of 500.
- Must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of UUM or placement provider
- Prepare 350 words motivational essay
- Agrees to be responsible for the costs incurred
- Being passed the nomination step by Telkom University.
