Welcoming New International Student 2021. Telkom University through the International Office organized the Welcoming New International Student 2021 on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2 pm online via zoom meeting.
The Welcoming New International Student event aims to officially and warmly greet selected students of the 2021 International Student to Indonesia in general and Telkom University particularly. This Welcoming New International Student event invited all students across the countries.
Ibu Lia, The Director of Strategic and Partnership Telkom University expressed her pride in this event to the selected international students of the 2021 Class. Through her speech in Welcoming New International Student, Mrs. Lia also conveyed a warm welcome for all foreign students in class 2021. Various cultural programs and also learning with a good system have been prepared by Telkom University for international students.

The Welcoming New International Student event was filled with important information about lectures, culture, immigration, and scholarships. This information is a must to international students to make it easier for them while studying at Telkom University.
The Welcoming New International Student was attended by International students, International Office staff and International Office Buddies Club members, and it lasted more than 3 hours which was divided into 2 sessions.
The Manager of the International Office of Telkom University, Mrs. Indah Fajarwati opened the first session of the Welcoming New International Student with an introduction to campus and about Indonesian culture. Then, the material was continued by the Assistant Manager of International Office, Mrs. Mefty Septiani who explained about important documents for Immigration and international services at Telkom University. Meanwhile, the scholarship material was explained by the Assistant Manager of International Mobility, Mrs. Lia Marlia.
Apart from internal speakers, the Welcoming New International Student event also invited speakers from other directorates. For material about iGracias, the Welcoming New International Student event invited Mrs. Laila Fathiyana Ahyar from the Directorate of Information Technology Center of Telkom University. Then continued with Mrs. Oktrianti from Open Library.
The second session in the Welcoming New International Student event was filled with explanations about the Permit Application. This application was created to make it easier for foreign students to update and access information about permit requirements. This material was explained by the Directorate of Information Technology Center of Telkom University.
