Telkom University’s Robot won 2 championships in Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) 2018

Bandung, Telkom University’s Robot Won 2 Championships in Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) 2018 Regional II, after Telkom University hosted the KRI 2018 Regional II earlier, this year the implementation of KRI Regional II was held at Tarumanegara University on 10th until 12th May 2018.

A total of 95 teams competed in robot competitions organized by the Ministry of Research and Technology Higher Education (Ristekdikti) and there was 5 branches of competition, including ABU Indonesia Robot Contest (KRAI), Indonesian Fire Extinguisher Robot Contest (KRPAI), Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI), Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI) Humanoid, and Indonesian Wheeled Football Robot Contest (KRSBI).

Telkom University in this competition sent 4 teams, each team consist; of Team BADAYA_SAS with category of KRSTI, Team ROSTU with category of Wheeled  KRSBI from Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT) and ARJUNA Team with category of KRPAI and ROOBICS Team with category KRAI from Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FTE).

In this competition, team Badaya_SAS and team ROSTU successfully became the Top Five Winners. Badaya_SAS  consisted of Ryan Febriansyah (D3TT 2015), Amalia Tamarizka Sihombing (D3TK 2016), Luthfi Anota Sirpa (D3TK 2016) with supervisor team Simon Siregar, and team ROSTU consisted of  Dzikri Hasbialloh (D3TK 2016), Muhammad Amirul Ammar (D3TT 2017), Alfian Nasir (D3TK 2017), Bayu Firdausa (D3TK 2016) 2017) with a lecturer mentor M. Ikhsan Sani. M. Ikhsan said these two teams will compete the national level of KRI on 11th until 14th July 2018 in University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

M.Ikhsan said that the 2 teams of Telkom University who passed this team SAS and Team Rostu will enter the national level KRI which will be held on 11-14 July 2018 at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.

“We are grateful that we can continue this competition to the national level, because this is the first time the Wheeled KRSBI team passed to the national level, hopefully at the national level we will be able to face challenges by other teams from all over Indonesia to get the best results that can bring good name Telkom University.”Said Ikhsan.
